In the Avenues and Federal Heights we spend most of our time reconciling original millwork, narrow rooms and modern living. That usually means custom-scaled upholstery, quiet colors that let old plaster and wood breathe, and lighting plans that replace dim ceiling fixtures with layered lamps and sconces.

Sugar House and the East Bench bring 1950s–1970s ranch and split-level floor plans. Those homes reward opening sightlines, replacing dated stone and brick surrounds with warm honed materials, and planning furniture around the mountain views on the east side of the house.

Downtown and Central Ninth condos are compact and light-hungry. We plan them around dual-purpose furniture, wall-mounted lighting, and a tight material palette so the space reads calm rather than crowded.

Alongside residential work we design offices, showrooms, salons and medical suites throughout the city — spaces that need to look considered on the first visit and hold up to daily traffic afterward.
